Chamber Music Northwest’s 47th Summer Festival: Celebrating Women Composers

This summer Chamber Music Northwest is celebrating women composers. The 47th annual Summer Festival (June 26-July 30) will feature over 20 works by women including works by Pulitzer Prize winners Ellen Taaffe Zwilich and Caroline Shaw, and GRAMMY Award winner Joan Tower. In addition to the incredible music, CMNW is offering many free events including a women composer panel moderated by All Classical Portland’s Christa Wessel and a new informal discussion series called Coffee with the Composer.
