Hailing from the vibrant and culturally rich landscapes of the Middle East, Tora’dan fuses traditional Azerbaijani Turkish music with the raw power of rock, crafting a uniquely captivating and intense sound.
For the past 17 years, Tovas and Jan Porvas have performed together globally, fueled by their shared love for music. Tovas, a poet, writes and sings the group’s songs in Azerbaijani Turkish and Farsi, while her husband Jan, a master musician, also sings, arranges the music, and plays keyboard and Tambur.
