The Roaring ‘20s meet the holiday season in this evening benefiting the arts in Hillsboro! Good Co brings an electric mix of tunes from the swing era and dance music of today, with a healthy splash of holiday cheer stirred in. With a “new-old” sound, the era of jitterbugging flappers and underground speakeasies combines with modern day pop, dance, and funk music.
This year’s annual concert to benefit the Hillsboro Arts & Culture Endowment features complimentary wine and dessert, a donation paddle raise, and the opportunity to dust off your dancing shoes. Nik Whitcomb of Bag&Baggage Productions and Harrison Butler of HART Theatre will emcee the evening.
More about Good Co.
Brassy, flashy, and always a little sassy, electro swing band Good Co is reimagining the dance music of today by taking the sound and style of the past and flipping it on its head. One of the first live electro swing bands in the U.S, jazz came first to the band members and the “electro” followed after. Since 2013, Good Co has performed around the world over and their music can be heard on radio, label compilations, independent films, and on television. Whether it’s performing their music 10,000 feet up in the Austrian Alps (true story), underwater (in bathing suits no less!) at the Bad Sulza Spa, at a community theatre, neighborhood performance center, or local school, Good Co is thrilled to play anywhere with a crowd ready for a good time!
