Soul and Gospel singer-songwriter Liz Vice has always had a love for storytelling. A Portland native currently residing in Brooklyn, NY, she’s drawn comparisons to Mavis Staples, Aretha Franklin, and some of the greatest gospel/soul singers of all time. Deep-rooted in spirituality, her songs have a timeless feel created by soaring vocals and soulful lyrics woven with the joy, hope, and heartache of human experience.
“Portland-born singer Liz Vice did not choose to pursue music. Rather, music chose her. Combining American gospel and ’60s soul, Vice’s music is simply magnetic.” – OPB
Her passion and talent have led to two of her albums, There’s A Light (2015) and Save Me (2018), debuting on Billboard’s Gospel chart and to a nomadic life touring across the country. She’s even shared the stage with the likes of The Temptations, Joss Stone, Lake Street Dive, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, and Blind Boys of Alabama, amongst others.
